What is coaching?

As a pediatric dentist, you’ve poured your energy, heart, and expertise into your education and patients, striving to make a difference in the lives of children and their families. Amidst the constant care, putting out fires, and the never-ending pursuit of professional excellence, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or even disillusioned.

You’re not alone if you’ve ever thought:

  • I worked so hard and gave up so much to get here, and now that I’m here, it doesn’t feel like I thought it would.

  • I have everything I worked for and wanted, but I don’t feel fulfilled.

  • I’m so exhausted and overwhelmed. It’s just too much. I can’t keep doing everything.

  • The things I like about dentistry aren't actually what makes up most of my workday.

  • I’ve worked so hard and sacrificed so much for so long that I don’t know how to live a life that isn’t mostly work and sacrifice.

If these words resonate with you, coaching may be the key to creating the life and career you truly love and enjoy.

Coaching is a transformational partnership that empowers you to find clarity, achieve balance, and pursue your goals with renewed purpose. Unlike mentoring, teaching, or consulting, coaching is about guiding you to unlock your potential by focusing on what you want to achieve.

As your coach, I provide a safe and supportive space to reflect, strategize, and grow. Together, we’ll explore your values, clarify your priorities, and create actionable plans aligned with who you truly are and what you truly want. Whether you’re feeling stuck, facing a challenging decision, or seeking greater fulfillment, coaching can help you navigate the journey toward a more balanced, joyful, and meaningful life.

How can coaching help pediatric dentists?

Coaching can support you in overcoming a range of challenges unique to pediatric dentistry:

  • Burnout & Compassion Fatigue: Reignite your passion and build resilience against the emotional toll of your work.

  • Moral Distress & Overwhelm: Learn how to navigate ethical dilemmas and find peace amidst the chaos.

  • Clarity & Confidence: Gain the insights needed to make empowering choices and take confident steps forward.

  • Goal Achievement & Reflective Practice: Identify and achieve both personal and professional goals through self-reflection and intentional action.

  • Life Balance & Habit Change: Redefine what success means to you, and develop habits that support a balanced, fulfilling life.

  • Navigating Transitions & Growth: Whether it's a career shift, a new opportunity, or personal development, coaching helps you move forward with clarity and confidence.

How does it work?

Transformation doesn’t happen overnight. A commitment of at least 3 to 6 months, with sessions every 2 to 4 weeks, is recommended to truly experience the benefits of coaching. Every plan is customized to fit your unique needs and circumstances. Let’s discuss what works best for you in a no-pressure consultation.

Each one-hour session is $175. However, I believe that coaching should be accessible to all pediatric dentists who need it. If this cost is a barrier for you, please reach out, and we can explore options to make coaching work within your budget.
